Having your golf clubs custom fit for you personally rather than just buying a set of everyday golf clubs from your local Wal-Mart will help your golf game dramatically. Your new golf clubs will be designed for your personal height, swing, and style of play. The good news is that it usually will not cost any extra to be custom fit. You should have that included with the purchase of any new golf clubs.

Be sure to take your time before making any purchase. Take a look at the various makes and models of golf clubs. Take some practice swings with different golf clubs until you find the set that feels just right for your golf game. Every large golf retail store has an indoor hitting area. Also, the local golf pro shop will always allow you to go out to the driving range and hit golf balls with any clubs they sell.

· Is the club too heavy? Look for something lighter.
